What is a VRM?

VRM is a new video format that converts 2D films into 360 virtual reality movies. This is a whole new way to watch and experience movies. You can now be immersed in the story and the action. The screen isn't flat anymore. We welcome you to join us on this bold new journey to experience VRMs on your VR device.

The movie wraps around you for a full 360 degree experience!

We use a special process that dynamically keeps the story in focus.

Put on your VR headset, search VRM in the Meta Quest Store. Choose a film or Demo. Currently compatible with Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3.

The player steps inside the Video Dome that contains the movie.

The movie begins to play automatically once inside the Video Dome. You can control video playback with your VR controllers or your voice.

Get immersed in VR surround sound provided by Meta's spatial audio system.

Use your VR controllers to control the video playback. Use the Menu or Y and B buttons to access the video controls to play, pause or stop the video.

The VRM Magic Windows display system uses Dynamic Frame Aspect Ratio (DFAR) to shift the viewing focus based on the elements and composition of the frame. This allows the movie to wrap around the viewer without distorting the movie.
